This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 25.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 38-43 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
骨髓細胞表面抗原CD33也被稱為SIGLEC3、Siglecs（唾液酸結(jié)合Ig樣凝集素）和GP67，是一種單通道I型膜蛋白，屬于免疫球蛋白超家族和SIGLEC（唾液酸連接Ig類凝集素）家族。人CD33/Siglec-3 cD編碼一個364個氨基酸（aa）的多肽，具有疏水信號肽、N端Ig樣V型結(jié)構(gòu)域、一個Ig樣C2型結(jié)構(gòu)域，一個跨膜區(qū)和一個細胞質(zhì)尾部。CD33/Siglec-3通常被認為是髓系特異性的，但也可以在一些淋巴細胞上發(fā)現(xiàn)。在免疫反應中，CD33/Siglec-3可能通過其SH2結(jié)構(gòu)域招募細胞質(zhì)磷酸酶，阻斷信號分子去磷酸化的信號轉(zhuǎn)導，從而對配體誘導的酪氨酸磷酸化起到抑制受體的作用。CD33/Siglec-3誘導急性髓系白血病細胞凋亡。
