FA-PGG is a small molecule peptide composed of three amino acids, containing non natural amino acids in the peptide chain. It is used as a substrate for continuous spectrophotometric determination of human angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE). The enzymatic cleavage of FA-PGG produces FA-Phe OH and H-Gly-Gly-OH.
