A highly sensitive reagent for testing boron | [Uses]
Azomethine-H hydrate is used as a highly sensitive and colorimetric reagent for testing and detection of boron. It is also used to detect microgram levels of boron in glass and steel samples. Further, it is involved in the detection of boron in plant samples by masking copper, iron and aluminum ions with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. |
