Steps:
C-F bond activation of fluoroethane at ACF in the presence of HSnBu3
A reaction of fluoroethane (0.12 mmol) in C6D6 gave after 4 days with 97% yield ethylbenzene-d5 and 1% yield ethene. NMR data of ethylbenzene[18]: 1H NMR (300 MHz, C6D6): δ= 2.42 (q, 2H, CH2, 3JH,H= 7.6Hz), 0.94 (t, 3H, CH3, 3JH,H= 7.4Hz) ppm.
