Pipette 2.5mL (≈20mmol) of p-xylene into a 100mL round-bottomed flask, and add Cu-MCM41 (0.20g, Cu content of 10percent), ethanol (17mL), trifluoroacetic acid (3mL), hydrogen peroxide (30percent) in sequence , 7mL), after reacting at 90°C for 10h, stop the reaction, cool, filter, and separate to obtain 3.0g (separated yield is about 80.6percent) of 2,5-dihydroxyterephthalic acid.
