In a 5 ml quartz glass reaction tube, 0.2 mmol of 4-fluorobenzyl alcohol was added, and 20 mg of Zn0.6In2S3.6 was weighed to catalyze the reaction, and 1.0 ml of acetonitrile was added thereto, The reaction tube was replaced with argon gas and sealed, and the ambient temperature 6W LED was illuminated for 15 hours. After completion of the reaction, the product was chromatographed, and the mass spectrum showed a molecular weight consistent with 4,4'-difluorodiphenylethanone, and the yield was 74.3%.
