Indications of Glycopyrronium Bromide
Glycopyrronium Bromide, a novel long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) for once-daily use, has been approved for use as a bronchodilator for symptomatic maintenance therapy in adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Glycopyrronium Bromide, an anticholinergic, is also used in the treatment of conditions such as hyperhidrosis, severe drooling, adjunctive therapy for peptic ulcers, and neuromuscular blockade due to venous reversal.

RO3BB06-glycopyrronium bromide Belongs to the class of other inhalants used in the treatment of obstructive airway diseases,anticholinergics
A03AB02-glycopyrronium bromide Belongs to the class of synthetic anticholinergics,quaternary ammonium compounds.Used in the treatment of functional bowel disorders.
Side Effects
Side effects of Glycopyrronium Bromide include: abdominal pain, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, arrhythmia, palpitations, tachycardia, drowsiness, blurred vision, intestinal pseudo-obstruction, heat exhaustion, incomplete intestinal obstruction, upper respiratory tract infections, otitis media, dehydration, behavioural changes, agitation, irritability, agitation, insomnia, difficulty in urination, flushing, rash , hypokalaemia and hypernatraemia etc. Not all of the above symptoms may occur.
