番瀉葉，異名旃那葉、瀉葉、泡竹葉來源為豆科植物狹葉番瀉或尖葉番瀉的小葉，是一種生長在印度，巴基斯坦，中國南部和其它眾多地方的灌木。番瀉葉含有番瀉甙A及番瀉甙B，并含蔥酮衍生物：蘆薈大黃素、大黃酚、大黃酸等。具有瀉下作用及抗菌作用，番瀉葉還有箭毒樣作用。

Introduction

Senna comes from the leaflet of Cassia angustifolia or Cassia acutifolia delile. It is a shrub growth in India, Pakistan, Southern China and many other places. Senna leaves are rich in sennosides A and sennoside B. They also contain Onion derivatives: Aloe emodin, Chrysophanol, Rhubarb acid, etc. Senna has cathartic effect and antibacterial effect. What’s more, It also has the same function of curare.
