This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 64.2 kDa. The protein migrates as 70-80 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
鈣粘蛋白（Cadherins）是一大類細胞間粘附分子，參與多種細胞類型的細胞間粘附。在神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)中，鈣粘蛋白對發(fā)育的所有階段都至關(guān)重要，包括神經(jīng)管與外胚層的早期分離、神經(jīng)元和軸突的分離以及突觸的形成。這些分子介導使用細胞質(zhì)結(jié)構(gòu)域中兩個高度保守的氨基酸序列設(shè)計的鈣離子依賴性同型引物。其中一種鈣粘蛋白是Cadherin-10。Cadherin-10最初是從人腦中部分克隆的，但其mRNA也被證明存在于小鼠胸腺（稱為T2-cadherin）、小鼠睪丸以及小鼠、大鼠和雞的發(fā)育中的大腦和眼睛中。
