Epsilon-V1-2, Cys conjugated, is a peptide composed of 9 amino acids with a thiol group in its sequence. Epsilon-V1-2, Cys conjugated, is a specific inhibitor of ε PKC. Its inhibitory activity is based on ε PKC translocation and MARCKS phosphorylation. Epsilon-V1-2, Cys conjugated, interferes with the interaction between ε PKC and anchor protein ε RACK, including cysteine residues added to the C-terminus for potential SS bonding with carrier proteins.
