Transferrin R2分子背景
轉鐵蛋白受體蛋白2（TFR2）是一種單程II型膜蛋白，具有蛋白酶相關（PA）結構域、M28肽酶結構域和轉鐵蛋白受體樣二聚化結構域。TFR2基因的突變與遺傳性III型血色素沉著癥有關。此外，TFR2參與通過內吞作用將轉鐵蛋白結合的鐵攝取到細胞中，盡管與轉鐵蛋白受體1相比，其作用較小。
