Novokinin is an angiotensin AT2 receptor agonist peptide with 6 amino acids in its sequence and a Ki of 7.35 μ M. Its selectivity is 93 times that of AT1. Novokinin exhibits vasodilation and blood pressure lowering activity by activating the IP (prostacyclin) receptor, and inhibits food intake by activating PGE2-EP4, while also possessing oral activity.
