Description：HXR9是一種細(xì)胞滲透性多肽，序列中含有18個氨基酸，其中包含9個Arg，是 HOX/PBX 相互作用 (HOX/PBX interaction) 的競爭性拮抗劑。HXR9 拮抗 HOX 與第二轉(zhuǎn)錄因子 (PBX) 之間的相互作用，PBX 與旁系同源基因組 1 至 8 中的 HOX 蛋白結(jié)合。HXR9 選擇性地減少細(xì)胞增殖并促進(jìn) HOXA/PBX3 基因高水平表達(dá)的細(xì)胞，例如 MLL 重排的白血病細(xì)胞中的細(xì)胞凋亡 (apoptosis)。
HXR9 is a cell permeable peptide with 18 amino acids in its sequence, including 9 Args. It is a competitive antagonist to the HOX/PBX interaction. HXR9 antagonizes the interaction between HOX and the second transcription factor (PBX), which binds to HOX proteins in homologous genomes 1 to 8. HXR9 selectively reduces cell proliferation and promotes high-level expression of HOXA/PBX3 genes in cells, such as apoptosis in MLL rearranged leukemia cells.
