CysHHC10 is a synthetic antibacterial peptide that is a linear peptide composed of 10 amino acids and contains a large number of indole groups in its sequence. It exhibits strong antibacterial properties against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria. The MIC values of CysHHC10 for Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus epidermidis were 10.1 mM, 20.2 mM, 2.5 mM, and 1.3 mM, respectively.
