Cathepsin D and E FRET Substrate is the fluorescent substrate of cathepins D and E, rather than the fluorescent substrate of B, H or I. Its cleavage occurs at the Phe-Phe amide bond. It is a linear peptide composed of 11 amino acids. The sequence contains a D-type amino acid and a pair of fluorescent substance groups. The excitation wavelength is 328 nm and the emission wavelength is 393 nm.
