A further amorphous alkaloid obtained from the roots of Euphorbia millii, this base is laevorotatory with [α]²⁵_D - 14° (c lA, CHCI3). It is also characterized as the crystalline hydrochloride, m.p. about 140°C, giving an ultraviolet spectrum having absorption maxima at 227, 260, 315 and 342 mil.
