Chemische Eigenschaften
Oxydisulfoton is a combustible liquid.
Allgemeine Beschreibung
Liquid. Used as an agricultural insecticide.
Reaktivit?t anzeigen
Organophosphates, such as DISULFOTON-SULFOXIDE, are susceptible to formation of highly toxic and flammable phosphine gas in the presence of strong reducing agents such as hydrides. Partial oxidation by oxidizing agents may result in the release of toxic phosphorus oxides. On heating, oxydisulphoton gets decomposed and releases toxic gases and vapours (SOx, POx).
Health Hazard
DISULFOTON-SULFOXIDE is highly toxic orally and through the skin. DISULFOTON-SULFOXIDE is an organophosphate pesticide.
Brandgefahr
(Non-Specific -- Organophosphorus Pesticide, n.o.s.) Some materials may burn but none of them ignite easily. Container may explode in the heat of fire. When heated to decomposition, DISULFOTON-SULFOXIDE emits very toxic fumes of oxides of sulfur and phosphorus.
Sicherheitsprofil
Poison by ingestion and skin contact. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of SOx and POx.
m?gliche Exposition
This material is an agricultural
insecticide.
Versand/Shipping
UN3018 Organophosphorus pesticides, liquid,
toxic, Hazard Class: 6.1; Labels: 6.1-Poisonous materials.
Inkompatibilit?ten
Vapor may form explosive mixture with
air. Incompatible with oxidizers (chlorates, nitrates, peroxides,
permanganates, perchlorates, chlorine, bromine, fluorine,
etc.); contact may cause fires or explosions. Keep
away from alkaline materials, strong bases, strong acids,
oxoacids, and epoxides. Strong oxidizers may cause release
of toxic phosphorus oxides. Organophosphates, in the presence
of strong reducing agents such as hydrides, may form
highly toxic and flammable phosphine gas. Keep away
from alkaline materials.
Waste disposal
In accordance with 40CFR
165 recommendations for the disposal of pesticides and
pesticide containers. Must be disposed properly by following
package label directions or by contacting your local or
federal environmental control agency, or by contacting
your regional EPA office.
