Hydrogenated rapeseed oil can be prepared by hydrogenation of high erucic acid rapeseed oil obtained by pressing or solvent extraction of the seeds of cruciferous rapeseed. The reaction conditions are that in the presence of a nickel catalyst, the temperature does not exceed 245°C. |
