To the solution of 10 (5g, 0.024mol) in 83 AcOH (15mL), 19 H₂O₂ (40%, 5mL) was added dropwise while maintaining the temperature below 0°C. After the addition was completed, the mixture was heated to 50°C for another 4h. After completion of the reaction as indicated by TLC, the reaction was quenched by adding saturated 84 sodium thiosulfate solution (15mL), Then 22 DCM (30mL) was added and the misture was washed with water and brine, dried over MgSO₄, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure to yield 40 1 as a light yellow solid in 88% yield.
