Yield:-
Reaction Conditions:
with ammonium hydroxide in methanol for 2 h;Reflux;
Steps:
General procedure: A solution of 8 (5 mmol) in methanol (10 mL) was treated with concentrated ammonia (10 mmol). The mixture was heated at reflux for 2 h, concentrated under reduced pressure, and extracted with DCM and water (three times), and the organic phase was thencollected, washed with brine (20 mL 3), dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain the desired product(8) in 80%-90% yield.
