Steps:

2.4.1 General Procedure of the Hydrogenation of NitroCompounds

General procedure: The catalytic hydrogenation reaction was carried out ina 50 mL high-pressure reactor (Yanzheng ExperimentalInstrument, Shanghai PR. China). Typically, aromatic nitrocompound (1 mmol), deionized water (5 mL), methanol(5 mL) and catalyst (20 mg) were added into the autoclave.N2and H2were respectively purged three times to removethe air, and then 2.0 MPa H2was injected. The hydrogenationreaction was performed at 100 °C with stirring speedof 800 rpm. At the end of reaction, a small amount of liquidfrom the autoclave was collected and filtrated by oil film.The product was analyzed by gas chromatography with aFID detector (Agilent 7820A) and gas chromatography-massspectrometry (Agilent 7890B-5977A).
