1.35L of dimethylsulfoxide and 720g of a 50% by mass sodium hydroxide solution are added to a 3L three-necked flask,Stir at 90°C for 30 minutes and add 488 g of quaternary ammonium salt (commercially available). The rate of drop acceleration is 3.0 mL/min. After the addition is complete,The reaction was carried out at 90° C. for 36 h. After the reaction was completed, it was cooled to room temperature and the crude product was filtered. The crude product was washed with water to neutrality, dried in vacuum at 65° C., and recrystallized from toluene to give a pale yellow crystalline product of [2.2] paracyclophane. Yield 61%,
