Antioxidant 1010(AT1010,{tetrakis[methylene-3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxylphenylpropionate)]methane, C73H108O12, FW 1177.65) is a high molecular weight hindered sterically phenolic antioxidant; very low volatility; food contact approval.Antioxidant 1010 is white powder, odorless and no pollution. Melting point is from 110℃ to 125℃. Antioxidant 1010 Can soluble in benzene, acetone and ester solvent, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol. Antioxidant 1010 has stable nature, good compatibility, and excellent resistance to heat and water extraction. Specially when used together with antioxidant 168, DLTDP etc, Antioxidant 1010 plays a cooperative effect to improve the performance of antioxidant.

Antioxidant 1010 is one of several short synonyms for Pentaerythrityl tetrakis(3,5-di-tert- butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamate). Antioxidant 1010 is a white crystalline powder, added to industrial products made of rubber, plastics, wax, oils and polymers to slow or inhibit thermo-oxidation. Antioxidant 1010 can also help materials retain their color. Antioxidant 1010 is used in industries from electronics and textiles, to flooring, furniture, and even lawn care. Antioxidant 1010 is an Antioxidant with good performance, widely applicable to polyethylene, poly propylene, polyoxymethylene, ABS resin,PS resin, PVC, engineering plastics, rubber and petroleum products for polymerization[1].
The antioxidant 1010 with excellent thermal stability, good compatibility and low extractability, provides an excellent antioxidant performance in plastics. A series of the branched sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone)s were successfully synthesized. The highly branched sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone)s/antioxidant-1010 composite membranes were prepared by casting the highly branched polymers and the antioxidant-1010 from the DMAc solution on glass slides. The oxidative stability of the branched membranes is improved significantly by the addition of the appropriate antioxidant-1010, while the proton conductivity declines slightly but still meets the requirements of fuel cells[2].
Antioxidant 1010 is used as an antioxidant and themo stabilizer for polypropylene, polyethylene, impact resistant polystyrene, poly-4-methyl-pentene. Antioxidant 1010 also be used as a stabilizer for natural and synthetic rubber, polyvinyl chloride and copolymers of acrylonitrile with butadiene and styrene, polyacetals, alkyde resins, polyamides and polyesters. Antioxidant 1010 is an Antioxidant with good performance, widely applicable to polyethylene, poly propylene, polyoxymethylene, ABS resin, PS resin, PVC, engineering plastics, rubber and petroleum products for polymerization. Antioxidant 1010is nontoxic , fire-resistive, explosive-resistive, and well stable in storing. Antioxidant 1010 is packed in cardboard drum lined with plastic bags with the net capacity of 25 kg ; Antioxidant 1010 can also be designed according to customers' requirements.
Antioxidant 1010 finds application in plastics, rubber, latex, varnishes, adhesives, TPR’S and Hot Melts. In plastics, Antioxidant 1010 provides excellent antioxidant performance in Polyethylene, Polystyrene, Polyacetal, PVC, AS resin, Methacrylic resin, Polycarbonate, Polyester, and Polymethylpentene as well as many others. In rubbers, Antioxidant 1010 can be used in SBR, EPR, EPDM, Polybutadiene, Neoprene, Nitrile, Polyisoprene, and many other synthetic rubbers.
