Nucleocapsid (N) 蛋白是冠狀病毒中發(fā)現(xiàn)的最豐富的蛋白質(zhì)。冠狀病毒N蛋白是一種高度免疫原性的磷蛋白，對(duì)病毒基因組復(fù)制和細(xì)胞信號(hào)通路的調(diào)節(jié)很重要。它是由一個(gè)研究小組在冠狀病毒（CoV）感染期間篩查ADP核糖基化蛋白時(shí)首次發(fā)現(xiàn)的（Grunewald M.E.等人，2017，病毒學(xué)；517:62-68）。N蛋白中包含的多種功能活性使其不僅是一種結(jié)構(gòu)蛋白，也是抗病毒治療開發(fā)中的一個(gè)有趣靶點(diǎn)。由于N蛋白序列的保守性及其強(qiáng)免疫原性，冠狀病毒的N蛋白被選為診斷工具。
