Human HMGB1, His Tag (HM1-H5220) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Met 1 - Glu 215 (Accession # P09429-1).

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 26.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 32 kDa and 35 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）

高遷移率族蛋白B1（HMGB1）也稱(chēng)為高遷移率群蛋白1（HMG-1）和兩性霉素，是由HMGB1、HMGB2和HMGB3三個(gè)成員組成的HMGB家族的成員。HMGB1是一種非組蛋白結(jié)構(gòu)的染色體蛋白，普遍存在于所有脊椎動(dòng)物的細(xì)胞核中，與雙鏈DNA結(jié)合時(shí)沒(méi)有序列特異性。炎癥和損傷的機(jī)制與TLR4結(jié)合，TLR4介導(dǎo)HMGB1依賴(lài)性激活巨噬細(xì)胞細(xì)胞因子的釋放。這使HMGB1處于無(wú)菌和感染性炎癥反應(yīng)的交叉點(diǎn)。HMGB1已被研究作為DNA疫苗佐劑和癌癥治療的靶點(diǎn)。
