溶于醇、酮、醚、酯類、脂烴、芳烴及鹵代烴，不溶于甘油、二醇類和某些胺類。在水中的溶解度小于0.01%（25℃）。 Diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP) belongs to phthalate group, and is a dialkyl or aryl/alkyl diesters of phthalic acid. It is mostly used as a plasticizer in manufacturing polymers and other consumer products.用作色譜固定液。 DIDP was used as reference material for viscometry, to study temperature and pressure requirement in esters 2-ethylhexyl benzoate (EHB), bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), and the long-chain hydrocarbon 2, 6, 10, 15, 19, 23-hexamethyltetracosane (squalane, C30H62) viscosity.
