Description：膠原酶（Collagenase）是一種蛋白酶，一種肽鏈內(nèi)切酶，是一種由4個氨基酸組成的直鏈多肽，肽鏈的N端連接一個2-呋喃丙烯酸，能夠特異性的識別Pro-X-Gly-Pro序列（該序列高頻率出現(xiàn)在膠原中，很少發(fā)現(xiàn)于其他蛋白中）并切割該序列中性氨基酸（X）和甘氨酸（Gly）之間的肽鍵。許多蛋白酶都能水解單鏈且變性的膠原多肽，但膠原酶是唯一一種可以降解具有三股超螺旋結(jié)構(gòu)的天然膠原纖維的蛋白酶，這種膠原纖維廣泛存在結(jié)締組織內(nèi)。
Collagenase is a protease, an endopeptidase, a straight chain peptide composed of four amino acids. The N-terminal of the peptide chain is connected to a 2-furan acrylic acid, which can specifically recognize the Pro-X-Gly-Pro sequence (which is frequently found in collagen and rarely found in other proteins) and cleave the peptide bond between the neutral amino acid (X) and glycine (Gly) in the sequence. Many proteases can hydrolyze single stranded and denatured collagen peptides, but collagenase is the only protease that can degrade natural collagen fibers with a triple helix structure, which are widely present in connective tissue.
