[Sar1, Ile4,8] - Angiotensin II is a modified peptide fragment of angiotensin II, retaining the amino acids in positions 1-8 of the sequence. The amino acid in position 1 was replaced with Sar by Asp, while Tyr in position 4 and Phe in position 8 were replaced with Ile. [Sar1, Ile4,8] - Angiotensin II can activate extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1 and 2 (ERK1/2) through the angiotensin II type 1A receptor, and its activation depends on β- Suppress the expression of protein 2.
