Inhibitory effect on phosphodiesterase and modulates calcium ion mobility
REVIEW Ligustrazine hydrochloride is the salt form of tetramethylpyrazine, a natural product from Rhizoma Chuanxiong containing a pyrazine ring, which has been widely used in China for treatment of heart diseases. Ligustrazine, has an inhibitory effect on phosphodiesterase and modulates calcium ion mobility that is associated with heart disease and the cardioprotective effects.
