REVIEW Oxaphenamide, a fungicide has been shown to have in vitro fungistatic activity towards Pythium splendens, Fusarium roseum, Thielaviopsis paradoxa, and Sclerotium rolfsii. Further In vitro studies on a variety of species indicate that p-hydroxyphenylsalicylamide possesses a fungistatic activity esp. toward agents of severe mycoses and dermatophytes, but little activity toward yeasts and Aspergillus.
