| Chemical Properties | White, cake-like solid. Highly acidic, similar to 50% sulfuric acid, typical composition 20% TiO2, 50% sulfuric acid, 30% water, hygroscopic. Soluble in water; solutions hydrolyze readily unless protected from heat and dilution. |
