What is Pinolenic Acid?

Pinolenic acid as a new source of phyto‐polyunsaturated fatty acid of which little is known.

Pinolenic acid is a type of terpine acid extracted from pine nut oil. In 1997, Norwegian scientists first announced that there is an unsaturated fatty acid in pine seeds, which is different from the unsaturated fatty acids in all plants on the earth, and only exists in pine seed oil, which can not only reduce cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), increase high density lipoprotein (HDL), but also inhibit and eliminate the adverse effects of other unsaturated fatty acids on the body's Chemicalbook.
