1. Solubility & Bioavailability

Oleanolic acid dissolves in alcohol, but not in water, so it has a lower bioavailability. Therefore, we highly suggest to use ultra-micronized oleanolic acid to improve the bioavailability.

2. Difficult to isolate

Oleanolic acid and Ursolic acid are both triterpene acids with similar chemical structure, so they’re mutual impurities in high concentrations, and difficult to isolating from each other.
