Furthermore, dihydro-5-azacytidine (DHAC) vies with cytidine triphosphate for RNA integration, culminating in ribosomal breakdown and impaired protein synthesis [1]. |
| In vivo | In a murine model bearing L1210/0-induced tumors, administration of an LD 10 of Dihydro-5-azacytidine (DHAC; 1500 mg/kg) results in a peak plasma concentration of 317 μM. The compound is biexponentially eliminated, with a first-phase half-life (t 1/2 α) of 1.03 hours and a second-phase half-life (t 1/2 β) of 5 hours [2]. |
