Ampicillin belong to B - lactam antibiotics, broad-spectrum antibacterial effect. This product for most gram-positive bacteria, slightly weaker than the antibacterial activities of penicillin enzyme is sensitive to penicillin, so the resistance to penicillin staphylococcus aureus is null and void. It has a strong effect on Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Brucella and Pasteurella, but these bacteria are easy to develop drug resistance. Pharmacokinetics 

Probenecid can delay the excretion of this product, increase the blood concentration of the drug, and prolong the half-life.
