A solid phosphite antioxidant that provides excellent hydrolytic stability and outstanding performance in stabilizing polymers against melt flow degradation and color change.
RIANOX? 686 Characteristics &Application
RIANOX? 686 is a hydrolytically stable phosphite processing stabilizer. As a secondary antioxidant, RIANOX? 686 reacts during processing with hydroperoxides formed by autoxidation of polymers preventing process induced degradation and extending the performance of primary antioxidants. The application range of RIANOX? 686 comprises engineering plastic, such as PA, PC, polyester, etc. Typically, 500 - 2000 ppm of RIANOX? 686 combined with appropriate levels of other additives are used for the processing stabilization of polymers.
