PFKFB3 is over expressed in many cancers, and catalyzes the production of fructose-2,6-bisphosphate, which can potentiate PFK1 activity, enhancing glycolysis in tumor cells. YN1 inhibits glycolysis and proliferation in HeLa cells. |
